1 It's a fake because many Hispanics are themselves Caucasians. Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. They're not all brown by any means. At least not down here. I couldn't speak for D.C.-Northern Virginia because I don't know. Any writer for the Victoria paper would know better than to make such a distinction in a story--unless he/she was trying to get fired. The angry calls and letters would overwhelm the place.

I don't get your comment about "brown", there's no mention of brown in there.
I do seem to remember a "Hispanic boycott" around the illegal immigration deal. That's what I thought this was talking about.
